Melbourne-based art blog of reviews of contemporary art exhibitions from different voices. We aim to present varying perspectives from people such as art historians, artists and curators from a critically engaged view point to professionals from other fields and the general public. We want to celebrate genuine curiosity for contemporary art and the personal, emotional and intellectual encounters that can be experienced.

Not Quite Critics began in 2010 with reviews of current Melbourne and International exhibitions written by Georgina Lee and Alison Lasek as a response to the work we loved and wanted to share with a wider audience. After a long hiatus, we have come back fresh with new ideas to make this blog bigger and better than ever. Thank you to all our readers in the past, we hope you enjoy our new blog and our brand new look!
